2. Modification
- Check the Flash Base Address during Flash writing to reduce flash failure.
- Use Flash Bank Write Protection function of CPU to reduce flash failure.
- Delete file (/dev/mtd0, /dev/mtd1) not to access the Flash's boot area.
- Check if the upgrade file exists. If there is no upgrade file, do not perform upgrade process.
- Delete jffs2 file system in Kernel CMD line.
- Solve a problem that CPU performance is down when SNMP is used and 802.11h is selected for European countries.
- Remove the configuration save to Flash memory when Auto Channel Plan function out of Clustering feature is enabled.
- Watchdog function enable-SMT-R2000 will be restarted by Watchdog timer when Kernel is in abnormal state.
- Bug patch of Clustering function
(Problem) Endless configure saving and upgrade failure

3. Caution
1) Before upgrade V2.11.00 s/w, please check the software version of SMT-R2000.
2) In case SMT-R2000 software is V2.10, V2.09 or V2.08, upgrading software to V2.11.00 keeps the existing configuration (database) of SMT-R2000.
3) However, in case the other SMT-R2000 software version (V1.00~V2.07), upgrading the software to V2.11.00 will make the configuration (database) default.

Upgraded process
1) from V1.00~V2.07 to V2.11.
- V1.00 ~ V2.07 -> Upgrader080119.upgrade.tar -> V2.08~V2.09->V2.1
- V1.00 ~ V2.07 -> V2.11: Configuration is changed to default.

2) You have to keep in mind the below step in order to the upgrade successfully without any issue. If not, there is possibility of the upgrade failure (see the potential issues below).

In the Web page, you must set the below file like this before upgrading the software.
- SNMP = DISABLE
- CLUSTERING = STOP
- REBOOT
- Now upgrade SMT-R2000 software to V2.11.00 using the attached package.

The potential issues when you upgrade when you do not follow above procedure or settings.
a) SMT-R2000 operation can become slow because SNMP causes CPU Load in case 802.11h is set.
b) Boot failure can occurs again in a short time after upgrading software.
In case QoS is updated via Web page, the configuration file is saved to Flash Memory repeatedly and that causes incorrect writing to Flash Memory during the software upgrade.
Using syslogd in software V2.09 ~V2.11, you are able to see the below message repeatedly appears when this issue happen.
